“ We came on the night before school went back from winter break an hour before close with no appointment. There was one barber and he was in the middle of cutting another client's hair. The barber said he could get my six year old on still before close. He finished the other guy within ten mins and my son jumped in the chair. The barber was excellent. It was my son's first time in a barber shop and he loved it. It talked the barbers ear off I am sure but he made sure during the conversation that my son was comfortable and happy with how his cut was going. He finished with 20-30 minutes and my son immediately looked a couple years older and so handsome. He got his hair cut excactly how he wanted and couldn't wait to show it off at school the next day. Ducky's was accommodating, kid friendly, gentle, mixed hair expert, clean, great atmosphere and the same price as every where else. I am so happy I choose Ducky's and will start bringing all three of my sons here Thank you! ”

I didn't realize how much I'd miss this place when I moved out of state, and the first thing I did when I touched back down in San Diego to visit was drive straight to this barbershop. The guys are awesome, the beer is cold, the conversation is always engaging, sports, good books and magazines to browse while waiting, and a damn fine straight razor shave and beard trim. “ When I first brought my kiddo I was really nervous. I had previously called and asked if they would be ok with having a neurodivergent kiddo as a client. That’s how we met West. However, he moved 4 months after we started going to him for my kiddos haircuts. He spoke highly of his colleagues and said they all would be amazing in his place. I decided to make an appointment with Ben and hoped we didn’t put him off on the first appointment. He has been 100% AMAZING! The way he’s patient and understanding speaks volumes of his customer service skills. He even was able to cut my 3 year olds hair! Something that has been difficult elsewhere! We are not talking bowl haircut or choppy. I mean a nice hair cut. His attention to detail to his craft is top notch.
